I have an aging vehicle that is causing the one off repair needs to pop up (happens to the best of us, right)? I’ve taken my car to a few places in the Columbus area (both small shops and dealerships), and this is the one place I don’t feel like they’re trying to upsell me or cut corners. My son is a student at Capital and had some issues. Kyle and his team were responsive, provided great communication and addressed the issue in a very timely and affordable manner. They are the true definition of "quality." Great people all around!

I have lived all over the country, and everywhere I have lived I have made it a priority to find a mechanic I can truly trust. After this experience, I am confident this is my shop in Columbus. What stood out most was the owner’s integrity and how this business is truly relationship-focused . After dropping off my car for repairs, Kyle, the owner, personally drove me home so I would not have to spend money on an Uber, which was completely unexpected, but so very appreciated. Then, when it came to the actual car repairs, he took the time to clearly explain every repair, answered all of my questions without rushing, and, most importantly, differentiated between items that truly needed to be fixed now versus things that could responsibly be monitored. There was no aggressive upselling at any point. In fact, one of the items I chose to fix was something he originally suggested just watching, and he fully respected my decision either way. Communication was excellent throughout the process. When a part I approved arrived late on a Friday and the shop was closing for the weekend, Kyle proactively reached out, explained the situation before it became an issue, offered a loaner car, and let me decide how I wanted to proceed. He did not rush the work, did not cut corners, and did not pressure me, which is exactly how a responsible shop should operate. Pricing felt fair and transparent: not cheap, not inflated, but definitely appropriate for the work performed. When you combine honest recommendations, clear explanations, and genuine personal care, the value is absolutely there. The only real downside is scheduling and availability. I did have to wait about a week to get an appointment, and the shop is closed on weekends. That could be frustrating for a sudden breakdown or time-sensitive repair. That said, I do feel this is very common for owner-operated shops with loyal customer bases that do not overbook or rush work. So, just be sure to plan ahead. My takeaway: this is an excellent primary mechanic. For emergencies or same-day needs, it is always smart to have a backup plan, but that is a more than reasonable trade-off for this level of care and integrity. All that said, I will 100% recommend this place to all my friends and colleagues. Bexley Automotive is honest, they actually care, and without a doubt, they have earned my business.

Have never used this mechanic before, but had provided exceptional service over the phone a couple of times for us. Seems to be a very reasonable flexible person, very professional, and reasonably priced.

I’m from Indiana and was recommended to this shop..They took in my vehicle but were not equipped to fix it ..it was there earlier than it should have been..they ran diagnostics and found the problem..for there service they charged me nothing..so when ever I have a problem they will be the go to..Thank you guys so much for being honest and you just earned a lifetime customer..Happy holidays to you all…
